Bodyshop Athletics X (in Irmo, SC)

   The OFFICIAL Mud RunTraining Facility

Chris Wooten - Owner of Bodyshop Athletics- Bodyshop Athletics began in 2000 after Chris decided to hang up his gun and pursue his passion.  After training all walks of life; from the Marines that protect the President of the United States, to little league athletes, and virtually everything in between,  Chris decided it was time to use the gifts that God had provided him with to help other people, and started a full time career in personal training.  "I have had dinner with Presidents, and walked beside royalty, but nothing is as amazing as helping another person improve their quality of life".  Through this "ministry" called Bodyshop Athletics, we have literally changed the lives of thousands of people.  Chris's favorite quote is from President Ronald Reagan: "Some people go through their entire lives wondering if they ever helped anyone; the U.S. Marines do not have that problem".  We at Bodyshop Athletics don't have that problem either!!!

Laura Wooten Laura graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1988 with a B.S. in business and economic studies. This is also where she started her fitness career teaching aerobics. In 1996, she attained her MPH or Masters of Public Health from the University of South Carolina, focusing on nutrition and exercise science. In 1997, Laura  became a wife to Chris and is now a mother of three (ages 3,8 and 11), and author of 3 cookbooks. As a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Laura strives to improve the nutritional habits of all the clients at Bodyshop Athletics.  Her services consist of one on one consultations, Corporate wellness, Small groups seminars as well as  online nutritional guidance and accountability. "The most awesome woman in the world!" per Chris Wooten
