Trainers

  • Chris Wooten

    From training professional athletes to children of all ages, Chris`s experience in the fitness industry is a unique one. While serving in the U.S. Marines as Presidential Security for both president`s Reagan and George Bush Sr. Chris Attended northern Virginia Community college while in the Marines and began his personal training career out of the joy of helping people accomplish their fitness goals.

  • Sam Brown

    Sam started his career with The Body Shop in January 2005. He is currently attending the University of South Carolina majoring in Sports Administration. Sam is a certified personal trainer from N.E.S.T.A.. Additional experience from, "I worked with Desmond Kitchings and Will Bouten, in the summer of 2004. Both, while I was at Potential Sports Academy.

  • Laura Wooten

    Laura P. Wooten, M.S., M.P.H. With over 20 years of professional experience in the fitness industry, Laura now presides as Vice President of bodyshop Athletics Inc. in Lexington. After beginning her career at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, she continued her education by acquiring a Masters of Public Health from the University of South Carolina.
